In this paper, we report on two aspects of our recent investigations on Martian meteorites: 1/ Li and incompatible trace element abundances in shergottites and nakhlites and 2/ the Li isotopes systematics during the crystallization of the North West Africa 480 shergottite (NWA 480). Li is seen by many workers as a key element for tracing fluids during the genesis of nakhlites and shergottites.
