Parker's (1964) formal results pertaining to the orbits of submicron grains in the interplanetary medium with an idealized magnetic field are quantitatively pursued. For all grains the outward force due to radiation pressure is less than gravitational attraction. The grains are positively charged to a potential of only 1.1 V. During the epochs when the solar rotation and dipole axes are parallel, the concentration of the grains in the interplanetary medium should maximize in conical surfaces + or - 25 deg off the solar equatorial plane. The earth is expected to be subjected to a rain of 0.03-micron grains, preferentially. The influx may be greater in the polar cap regions of the earth.
