The problem of minimizing errors in satellite orbit determinations is
considered for the case of the most unfavorable measurement error
realization. Both exact and approximate solutions are proposed. A
computer program has been written which makes it possible to determine
an orbit from 100 three-dimensional measurements in less than 8 seconds.
