Using Wood's (1972) model we have reanalyzed the lightcurves of nine eclipsing binaries in order to obtain homogeneous photometric elements. It has been found that V346 Aql, CV Car, TZ CrA, SZ Her, and RS Lep are very probably common semidetached systems with lobe-filling subgiant (or giant) secondaries K0 Aql appears to be an sd-d system; AW Cam and WX Eri, having close - though not exactly in contact - members, are unlikely to be ordinary main sequence detached systems. It has been pointed out that RR TrA shows an anomalous behaviour.
