There is a possiblity of clumps in the coronae of early-type stars which they can help explain observational problems of these stars, like the large infrared emission and the enhancement in the blue wing of the H-alpha line. In this study, we investigate the formation of these clumps via a thermal instability. Using a reasonable heat-loss function, we show that the two stable equilibrium regions can exist over a wide range of pressures describing the diffuse medium and the clumps.
