Relaxed double radio sources are sources whose morphological nature does not resemble the classical radio sources. The standard picture of Fanaroff-Riley galaxies (FR I and FR II) is such that these sources have jet and hotspot structures. These features of active particle acceleration are missing in the relaxed radio sources. In addition, relaxed radio sources are not easily separated based on luminosity criterion and can be classified as either FR I or FR II. We present an analysis of VLA observations at 20, 6, and 2 cm of the relaxed double radio sources 3C310 and 3C442A. Spectral tomography will be used to isolate the spectral indices at several key morphological areas (such as the filamentary structure) on these radio sources. Color-color analysis is also used to investigate the aging processes of the relativistic electron population in the context of known standard synchrotron aging models. We will then examine our results to determine what role the surrounding cluster environment had in the morphological and spectral characteristics of these relaxed doubles.
