Gravitational lensing has become an indispensable part of cosmologists' tool-kit. Lensing offers a range of different techniques that can uncover smooth and clumpy distribution of matter, on large and small scales within galaxies and clusters of galaxies. Comparison with observed light distribution allows one to disentangle the relative contributions of dark and light-emitting matter. I will summarize the various lensing methods, describe the recent developments, and speculate on the future of the field.
