Measurements of the planets Uranus and Neptune have been made at
wavelengths of 9.5 and 3.5 mm relative to Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. The
observed brightness temperatures of Uranus and Neptune are considerably
in excess of the black-body equilibrium temperatures derived from solar
heating.
