A prominent off-plane radio lobe structure above the galactic nucleus, revealed during a 10 GHz continuum survey of the galactic plane, is reported. The lobe has steeper gradients of radio emission toward the outer edges. Cross sections of the lobe show a brightness distribution typical of a compressed shell, which may indicate that the lobe is a result of an explosive or an energetic outflow phenomenon. The background component of the cross section has a steep spectral index, which indicates a nonthermal origin; the flat spectrum of the lobe component suggest thermal radiation from an ionized gas. Two possible formation mechanisms for the formation of the lobe are briefly discussed: channeled exhaust from the nuclear disk, and galactic loop prominence.
