The paper considers a model for the formation of the sun and protoplanetary disk with compression of a protoplanetary nebula whose mass is close to that of the sun. It is noted that the cosmochemical consequences of the proposed mechanism for the formation of the protoplanetary disk do not contradict data obtained during the investigation of meteorites and Comet Halley.
