Optical linear polarization data for the HH 100 nebulosity are
presented. The authors are unable to confirm that HH 100 IRS is the sole
source of excitation and illumination of the nebula and they suggest
that there may be an additional and/or alternative source deeply
embedded within the nebula itself.
