Numerical simulation of the orbit of a planet revolving about Alpha
Centauri A at a distance to produce earth-like temperatures show that
the eccentricity is periodic with a period of about 8000 years and an
amplitude of just under 0.1. Hence, the orbit appears to be dynamically
stable.
