Consideration is given to the nucleogenetic origin of the Xe-X component, found in some chondrites, that is characterized by a unique isotopic composition: an enrichment by light-shielded Xe-124 and Xe-126 isotopes and in the heavy unshielded Xe-134 and X-136 isotopes. Experimental data on the isotope composition of Xe-X, which can be identified only in the absence of other Xe components, disclose a unique Xe-136/Xe-130 ratio of 4.23 and a strong correlation between Xe-124/Xe-132 and Xe-136/Xe-132, indicating that Xe-X is a unitary indivisible component. The carrier phase of the Xe-X component is a carbonaceous substance of unidentified nature, characterized by high resistance to oxidation. The total isotope composition of Xe-X can be explained within the framework of a model of nucleosynthesis of these isotopes at the front of a shock wave propagating through the He-shell at the time of a supernova explosion.
