Light Curve, Starspots, Stellar Rotation
Scientific paper
During September 1986 a light curve was recorded for II Peg which was of an unprecedentedly large amplitude. To establish the duration of this unusual phenomenon a second set of photometric observations was made which established that the curve was essentially the same a full two months later. The purpose of this paper is to report the preliminary results of the analysis of these observations and to outline briefly their implications for the starspot hypothesis.
