The high-energy neutrino flux from Cygnus X-3 is calculated on the basis of the binary model of the source. The possibility of observing such a flux through an excess of muons in small underground detectors is discussed. Constraints on the cosmic-ray luminosity of Cygnus X-3 are derived by comparing the expected neutrino flux with the gamma-ray observations of this source.
