It is shown that hot cavities in active galactic nuclei must break out into twin exhausts at subparsec distances and that they could have considerable influence in producing radio source morphology not readily explained by intrinsic collimation near the central hole itself. Thermal instabilities in accreting gas and Rayleigh-Taylor instability of the cavity boundary together allow ingestion of denser baryonic material into the outflow, and portions of the flow may naturally be related to narrow-line and broad-line regions. Low-luminosity sources are constrained to be classical symmetric twin exhausts on breakout, while at higher luminosities it is suggested that asymmetric double structure can be expected because of ingestion of confining gas into the flow and flip-flop behavior can be expected because of interruption of equatorial fueling inflow.
