A spectroscopic survey of the southern globular cluster NGC 6752 is presented which includes the first spectra of main-sequence stars in a metal-poor globular cluster and the calculation of several new model spectra. An overall metal abundance of (M/H) roughly -1.5 is obtained. No evidence is found for star-to-star abundance difference of any elements other than C and N, and the spectra suggest that the observed B-V width of the color-magnitude diagram at faint levels is due largely to observational scatter rather than to real temperature variations. Varying amounts of carbon depletion are inferred for brighter, as well as fainter, giants, and nitrogen enhancements greater than three are inferred for the brightest giants. Observed and computed spectral indices due to Ca, CN, CH, and Fe agree well at all M(v) after allowing for zero point shifts.
