Results on the spectra of magnetic helicity and magnetic energy are presented as a function of radial distance from the sun, as obtained through Helios 1 and 2 data in the range of 0.3-1 AU. The time intervals were chosen within the trailing edge of two different streams observed by the two spacecraft at different heliocentric distances. These periods were homogeneously characterized by almost incompressible MHD fluctuations. A steepening of the magnetic helicity spectra quite similar to that of the magnetic energy spectra is found by increasing the radial distance from the sun. The difference between the indices of the magnetic helicity spectra and those obtained for the magnetic energy spectra is close to one, as expected. Correlation lengths and other lengths of interest were also computed for both magnetic energy and magnetic helicity, and they are shown to increase with the heliocentric distance.
