Two stellar appearing objects, closely situated on either side of a large galaxy in the cluster A1367, were recently identified as X-ray sources by Bechtold and colleagues (1983). Observations reported in the present paper establish that both objects are quasars of nearly identical apparent magnitude and redshifts of z = 0.33 and z = 0.95. At distances of r = 73 arcsec and r = 59 arcsec from the galaxy NGC 3842 (z = 0.026), the chance of accidentally encountering two quasars of this apparent magnitude is less than 7 x 10 to the -6th. Association with NGC 3842 is further supported by the fact that many of the large galaxies in this cluster have detected or associated X-ray emission. The X-ray emission, if associated with the large galaxy NGC 3842, would be in the form of these two X-ray point sources displaced immediately on either side of the galaxy.
