Accurate spectropolarimetry has been performed on the three stars ο Sco, σ Sco and η Aql with a view to determining the peakiness, K, of the p(λ) curve. A high value of K appears to be associated with ο Sco relative to the values for σ Sco and η Aql. A newly discovered dispersion of position angle, θ(λ) is reported for η Aql and this star can now be considered only as a secondary standard for polarimetric calibration purposes. The determined values of K have been considered in terms of the two-cloud model but no firm conclusions can be drawn.
