A V and B photoelectric light curve for the eclipsing binary XX Cep is presented and the photometric solution deduced and discussed also from the point of view of the previously assumed semidetached-detached configuration in an eccentric orbit. The system, which is a low-mass one, appears to be normal semidetached with an underluminous subgiant secondary in a circular orbit.
