The results of a spectroscopic survey of 74 galaxies from the lists of Markarian and Arakelian (1981, 1975, respectively) are presented. Observations were performed with the 1.93 m telescope of the Haute-Provence observatory between January 1981 and November 1982. The results are presented in a table which lists the names, spectral types, and the magnitudes of the galaxies. Values for velocity relative to the sun, internal standard deviation, and emission line strength with respect to the underlying continuum are also listed in the table. The possibility that a few of the galaxies observed in the survey might be Seyfert galaxies is discussed in detail.
