Imaging Fabry-Perot spectroscopy in the lines of hydrogen Balmer alpha
and C2 and IHW filter photography on comet Halley carried out
with a small telescope and an image intensifier camera are described. A
special event seen in H2O+ emission and in the H
alpha interferogram on March 13, 1986 is detailed.
