The Miller chondrite has been analysed, with the following results: Fe 19·90, Ni 1·60, Co 0·061, FeS 5·39, SiO2 38·13, TiO2 0·142, Al2O3 2·06, Cr2O3 0·32, FeO 4·74, MnO 0·31, MgO 23·71, CaO 1·61, Na2O 0·82, K2O 0·098, P2O5 0·50, H2O+0·06, C 0·015. The mineralogical composition is orthopyroxene (En82), olivone (Fo82), plagioclase (An10), nickel-iron, troilite, chromite, traces of diopside, and probably a little apatite; a single grain of native copper was seen on a polished surface of the meteorite, The density of the meteorite is 3·68.
