A high-speed photometer has been used to observe the occultation of η Vir. Analysing the photoelectric record of the signal, it is obvious that a visual companion exists. The data processing using the parameter fitting method drives to retain a three-component pattern. The authors provide both the angular separations and flux ratios for this pattern. A detailed comparison of their results and those obtained by other methods is made.
