The density and fragmentation energy of meteoroids for 98 faint photographic meteors from 17 showers were evaluated via mathematical simulation of the quasi-continuous fragmentation and deceleration of meteoroids. Carbonaceous chondrites and ordinary stony chondrites are found frequently, while iron, iron-stony, friable meteoroids, and bodies with embedded free ice are rarely found. In the Draconid, Orionid, Eta-Aquarid, and Chi-Zignid showers, only very volatile compounds or very friable meteoroids are present.
