The model of a cometary outburst recently proposed by D. A. Andrienko and I. I. Mishchishina (42.102.071) is shown to be incorrect due to using the unreal law for the evolution of the distribution function of icy particles. Correct expressions are given for the total number of vaporizing grains, their surface, and their total volume. These expressions can be useful to analyse the brightness of a non-stationary cloud of sublimating grains. The CHON-particles of Comet Halley appear to be such ones.
