Analysis of numerous spectrograms of HR Del taken with the 2-m Shemakha reflector in April-May 1968 indicates how the absorption-line profiles were evolving several months after maximum light. All the lines exhibit variable, multicomponent structure. The hydrogen and metal lines have similar profiles and radial velocities. One group of absorption features corresponds to the nova's third outburst.
