One-dimensional spectral classifications for 90 Galactic globular clusters and NGC 121 in the Small Magellanic Cloud are compared with previous observations. The data base consists of about 260 image tube spectra at 120 A/mm. A total of twenty-three clusters, many of them lying near the Galactic nuclear bulge are classified for the first time. Large uncertainties were found in the (B-V) and E(B-V) spectra of Kukarin (1974). Tight correlations were obtained between the present metallicity types and the abundance scale for metal-rich globular clusters. Linear correlations between spectral types and metallicities are derived based on the scale in which 47 Tuc and M71 have an Fe/H ratio of more than -0.7 but less than about -0.5. Extensive tables are given summarizing the spectral classifications, photometric indices, and metallicity values for the Galactic globular clusters.
