The Globular Cluster X-ray source 4U1722-30 was observed with EXOSAT on 1985 March 14. The observed spectrum and the luminosity, 3.8 times 10 to the 36th power erg/sec, are consistent with Einstein observations of this source. No long term or burst temporal variability are apparent during the 11 hr of observation, but shot noise with typical time scale of 3.5 sec is revealed by autocorrelation analysis. The result is relevant in the context of the models proposed for accretion disks around the compact component in interacting binary systems.
