Projected rotational velocity Vsini and mean radial velocity are presented for a sample of 78 double-lined binary systems with evolved component of luminosity classes IV and III and spectral types F, G and K. The measurements were carried out with CORAVEL spectrometer mounted at the 1.0m swiss telescope, Haute Provence Observatory, France. The precision on the radial velocity is of about 300m/s, whereas for the rotational velocity the uncertainties are typically 1.0m/s for stars with Vsini lower than about 50km/s. From these data we established the rotational behavior of stars in such a class of binary system, with emphasis on the role of tidal effects in the rotation. Clearly, those systems with subgiant component present a period of synchronization of about 50 days, whereas those systems with a giant component present a period of synchronization between 100 and 250 days.
