In the present consideration of the missing mass problem, equations are developed which express relatively well determined parameters characterizing the internal properties of all the mass models invoked in a sampling of spiral galaxy cases. The numerical values thus obtained constitute benchmarks, relative to which theories of spiral galaxy formation can be tested. Simple regularities are noted to be exhibited by the unseen matter in the spiral galaxy sample. Attention is given to the possibility that both the visible and invisible matter are baryonic.
