Based on V-band observations of YZ Bootis obtained since 1981, and previously published photoelectric maximum times, it is shown that the period of YZ Bootis is increasing at 0.026 + or - 0.0004 s/century. In the quadratic fit, the relative error in the coefficient of the quadratic term is only + or - 13 percent, and it is suggested that this formula has an objective basis.
