Line Formation: Radiative Transfer, Solar Magnetic Fields: Structure
Scientific paper
The application of the theory of line formation depth to the derivation
of the structure of solar magnetic fields is described and some typical
samples are given. It is pointed out that it is more excellent for the
response function to derive the structure of the line parameters than
for the contribution function.
