We report pre-discovery observations and confirmation in Halpha and R of the nova candidate reported in ATEL#1139 and follow up observations of the nova candidate reported in ATEL#1131. The data were taken as part of a monitoring campaign of the M 31 central region for optical nova candidates, using the 1.3m Ritchey Chretien f/7.5 telescope at Skinakas Observatory, Crete, Greece.
