In order to study the spectral properties and the point distribution functions of density fields, we perform one- and three-dimensional, isothermal, hydrodynamic, turbulence simulations. The range of root-mean-square Mach numbers covered in the calculations is from 1 to 12. As the Mach number increases, the slope of the density power spectrum becomes shallower, a consequence of the dominant filament and sheet structures in the density fields of highly supersonic flows. We also find that, as the Mach number and the driving scale increase, the probability density functions of the isothermal gas density deviate from a lognormal distribution.
