We propose to observe the X-ray transient Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 galaxy (NLS1) WPVS 007 with XMM for 25 ks in case it is back in its high state again. WPVS 007 has been in a low state now for more than a decade. Our FUSE observations have shown by comparison to earlier HST observations the growing of deep broad absorption troughs in the UV spectra preliminary indicating that the X-ray weakness is due to the onset of strong absorption. Because rebrightening is expected we will monitor WPVS 007 by Swift. In case WPVS007 rebrightens by a factor of at least 20 we request a 25 ks triggered observation with XMM in order to study its X-ray properties in more detail in order to understand its very strange X-ray spectrum found during the RASS.
