Consistency problems that arise when coupling Kaaumlhler fermions of
spins s>=(3/2) to gravity are pointed out. These suggest that,
although conventional supergravity is quite consistent, it is not
possible to construct supergravities (or any other dynamical curved
space spin s>=(3/2) field theories) using Kaaumlhler fermions.
