The results of a multicolor photometric monitoring program of BL Lac are
presented. Observations during 16 nights in 1982 and 1983 show daily
variations in brightness, but no color changes. No intraday variability
is detected. Power spectrum analysis does not reveal any statistically
significant periodicity in the range of 8 min to 2 h.
