The supernova remnant S147 was observed at 1425 MHz, 2695 MHz, and 4750 MHz with the Effelsberg 100-m telescope. An excellent correlation between optical and radio structures was found. The distribution of spectral indices shows significant variations across the source. The spectrum of strong radio features is flatter than that of apparently diffuse emission. Polarized intensity was observed at 2695 MHz and detected close to radio ridges, but not coinciding with their peak total intensity.
