The distribution and evolution of the large-scale solar magnetic field
is considered in the framework of a Parker dynamo model. The complete
discrete spectrum of the dynamo waves is found. The spectral solution is
found for the case of large dynamo numbers using the WKB
(quasi-classical) approximation.
