JHKL (1.2 - 3.4 microns) photometry of 18 southern active galaxies and four QSOs is presented. The galaxies observed include 11 Seyferts, three N-type galaxies, three probable non-Seyfert counterparts to X-ray sources, and Pictor A. Dereddened (J-H, H-K) and (H-K, K-L) diagrams are provided, and correlations between X-ray fluxes and IR L-band flux densities are examined for the three X-ray source counterparts. It is shown that Pictor A, which is spectroscopically similar to class 1 Seyferts but is not a spiral galaxy, has IR colors that resemble those of the Seyferts.
