High-time-resolution SIT spectra of the flare star AD Leo are analyzed in an effort to detect any short-period variation that might be present. Upper limits are set on the magnitude of any variation down to a time scale of 5 min. No significant short-term variation was observed at the 2-sigma level of + or - 12%. Variation of nightly means on a longer time scale is clearly evident in excess of a 2-sigma level.
