Eight radio galaxies associated with an elliptical galaxy showing a band
of dust are discussed. In the 7 unambiguous cases the band of dust is
nearly perpendicular to the major axis of the radio source. This result
implies a close connection between the mechanism leading to the double
radio morphology and the rotation axis of the dust.
