Two exceptions to the generally good agreement with previous observations are noted in optical polarization measurements for 18 globular clusters in M31, and it is shown that, to a first approximation, the position angles of polarization are in accord with a magnetic field direction in the galactic plane and orthogonal to the local radius vector to the nucleus. Although the polarization efficiency is comparable to our Galaxy's maximum in some lines of sight, examples are found of low polarization accompanying high reddening which may be due to poor alignment and/or randomly oriented field lines along these lines of sight.
