We present a preliminary version of the filter complement for the NIRCam instrument now being designed and built for the James Webb Space Telescope. The filter wheel contains eight broad-band (R=4), 12 intermediate-band (R=10) and several narrow-band (R=100) filters covering the spectral range from 0.6-5.0 microns. The filters have been optimized to carry-out the main science program of NIRCam including: 1) probing ``first light'' in the universe responsible for ionizing the inter-galactic medium; 2) studying the formation and evolution of galaxies as they are assembled from protogalactic fragments; 3) investigating the formation of stars and evolution of protoplanetary disks; and 4) understanding the formation and evolution of planetary systems and prospects for the emergence of life in the Universe.
