Observations of the profiles of several absorption lines in the spectra of ι CrB and θ Her have been made to search for possible asymmetries that have been suggested by the diffusion theory for Ap stars. No asymmetries attributable to such effects were found. The profiles for ι CrB are not inconsistent with the binary nature of that star.
