The Spitzer Space Telescope GOODS 24 micron Legacy observations of the Hubble Deep Field North provide unprecedented vistas into the dusty Universe by measuring the redshifted mid-infrared emission from dust in galaxies out to z ˜3. This provides strong constraints on dust corrections to rest-frame ultraviolet/optical emission in typical star-forming galaxies and AGN. Implications for galaxy formation and evolution will be discussed and a measure of the mid-infrared integrated galaxy light provided for comparison with TeV limits.
