We have assembled a sample of several hundred star-forming galaxies at z ˜2, selected by their rest-frame UV colors and with spectroscopically confirmed redshifts. We use UGRJK photometry and mid-IR data from the Spitzer Space Telescope to model their stellar populations, masses and star formation rates. We also use near-IR Hα spectra of over 100 of these galaxies to determine dynamical masses, kinematic properties, and star formation rates. Approximately 8% of the sample have stellar masses greater than ˜1011 M&sun;, with ages of 2-3 Gyr. I will compare the stellar masses derived from the photometric modeling with dynamical masses from the width of the Hα emission line. We also use the [NII]/Hα ratio to estimate metallicity, and find a significant number of massive galaxies with approximately solar metallicities. The sample shows considerable diversity in mass, age and metallicity, and intriguing differences with respect to the Lyman break galaxies at z ˜3.
