Using a coloured photo-mosaic prepared by the technique reported previously in the Journal (see Figure 1) and a detailed drawing of the southern floor area in Lehmann (see Figure 2), an attempt has been made to explain the complex surface features in this region. The photo-mosaic was constructed with the aid of low power photomicrography using a Nikon microscope, from Orbiter IV HR160/2A higher contrast microfilm frame. The detailed drawing of the southern floor of Lehmann was based on an accurate enlarged photographic outline, followed by close visual examination of the microfilm, also using the Nikon microscope.
